However, despite Melvin Gordon, the running back for the Chiefs, not contributing significantly to the win, he still received a Super Bowl ring.

This prompted a tweet from an account that covers the Los Angeles Chargers, which stated that Gordon was like the person in a group project who just added their name to the final submission but still got a reward.

In response to the tweet, Gordon posted a quote tweet with a photo of himself smoking a cigar while holding the Lombardi Trophy, showcasing his pride in being a Super Bowl champion.

Melvin Gordon is a two-time Pro Bowler in the NFL who recently joined the Kansas City Chiefs in November. He had previously been a player for the Denver Broncos but was released and signed by the Chiefs prior to Week 13. However, he did not participate in any games during his time with the Chiefs.

Before his release from the Broncos, Gordon played in 10 games and recorded 90 carries for 318 rushing yards, two touchdowns, and five fumbles.

He referred to the transition from being on the active roster of the Broncos to the practice squad of the Chiefs as a “humbling” experience.

Gordon started his NFL career with the Los Angeles Chargers, where he played from 2015 to 2019 and was selected as the 15th overall pick in the 2015 draft.

During his time with the Chargers, he scored 36 rushing touchdowns between 2016 and 2019. He then joined the Denver Broncos, where he rushed for 17 touchdowns in his first two seasons. Now, he has continued with his divisional theme by joining the Kansas City Chiefs.
